Malhame Che3riye Halal.

Another great work by Tarek Chemaly, an epic Arabic poem entitled "Malhame
Che3riye Halal" The movie is made from 1,344 handmade frames. A must See.
So what is it like to live in today's Lebanon? For those who are here
and those who are abroad 7Upstairs Publishing is proud to bring you
the new video from Beirut/NTSC - an epic Arabic poem entitled "Malhame
Che3riye Halal" (the wordplay is too difficult to explain) but for
those of you who are Arabic-challenged, the poem has been transposed
into both English (as Space Bloodissey") and in French as (Iliad'quoi
en parler) as subtitles.
The movie is made from 1,344 handmade frames (by me, who else?) and
has been edited by Fayad Saab. I am thankful for Crystel Sanane who
did my two portraits (as well as the male/female robots)... Please
spread this effort as far and wide as possible, as once more, it has
been self-financed only to be put for free on the internet.... Tarek Chemaly

Exotica selling roses for Valentine's Day

After the big failure of the last two advertising campaign  promoting everything but roses, Exotica's newest campaign focusing on the brand showing the famous quote :''I love you” on the billboards written not on the sand nor with the ink but only with eight roses...A successful  very smart simple idea for valentine's day  …. I love it !

From Arabicity to Home city???

When I saw this AD for the first time  I thought it is for a new exhibition for the talented Lebanese Ayman Baalbaki after his success in the famous exhibition "Arabicity" that I posted about months ago, but  turns out to be a new campaign for Home City!!
What is the message of this campaign? :whatever you want to buy we don’t deliver!! and if you abuse the goods when carrying it ,please don't demand any return, because you are a king but not always right :O)

A king is not always right.

When I was in the university my teacher wrote on the board each day” the client is the king and he is always right” moving to the real life my managers and business owners eager to please all their clients always repeat to me that famous quote. But after my experience I realize that my teacher, my managers are wrong. Yea they are, the client is a king maybe but not always right and I am not his slave…
I am sure you had the opportunity of meeting some annoying clients who think that because they are your customers
  • They can call you at all hours
  • They think  they  know everything about your products and about your company
  • They refuse to take 'no' for an answer
  • They bring back merchandise that they obviously abused and demand a replacement
  • They demand more than you can offer….

Unfortunately I realized that abusive customer get better treatment than nice people. Well I believe in win win game and I always make sure to play it with friends, family and customers. I believe that quality is much better than quantity, some clients are so bad for your business and it is better to continue without them...
Don't you Agree?
Please share some annoying things your customers do.

Instant Messaging Dead.

I haven’t regularly used instant Messaging (IM) since winter 2010, I switched to twitter or sending SMS & E-mails to my friends. One of the main reasons why I prefer to communicate in other methods than instant messaging is because I don’t have time to chat. I prefer to take my time blogging, answering my readers, sending interesting links, blogger and Twitter allow me to do that. Most people that I know as well have moved over to facebook, skype, Blackberry messenger (BBM) or twitter .Facebook and Twitter let us talk to a wider audience via a wider range of platforms, including mobiles. It’s now easier to stay in contact with friends via social networks rather than an IM. what about you? are you still using instant messaging?
