French photographer Grégoire Vieille created an interesting analogy. What are human beings’ basic needs in 2011′s online world? To explain these needs he designed a series of still life photographs “Daily Bread Net” for issue 12 of theAmusement Magazine. His photos compare browsers, search engines and social networks to ‘traditional’, real world basic needs. Via: BB on the Bay

11-9-11 from Tarek Chemaly on Vimeo.
New epic video from Beirut/NTSC. To commemorate 10 years of 9/11 Beirut/NTSC has made a
video from 2011 hand-animated frames which talks
about the world in the aftermath of that
day. Of course, the world is ablaze with commemorations
and special issues and events about the topic, but how many of them stem from one of the regions that got so
much affected by the event? How many tell the other side of the
story?...Tarek Chemaly.
